Ruvubu National Park was set up in the 1980s and covers over 500 sq.km and is home to the most striking wildlife, among others hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles, leopards, monkeys, antelopes and lions. It boosts abundant birdlife with more than 425 bird species recorded.
